Meet Anastasiia

Every successful program starts with understanding the dog first.

Hi, I'm Anastasiia Shall, founder of N1 Dog Training. For more than 12 years, I've helped dogs and their families overcome behavior challenges using modern, science-based training tailored to each individual dog. I personally conduct every Behavior Assessment, develop every training plan, and oversee every case.

I started training dogs in 2010 and have been doing this full-time since 2021. I hold a formal degree in cynology and completed advanced canine behavior training across three countries — Germany, Russia, and the United States. Over the past 12+ years I've worked with roughly a thousand dogs, from working-line service breeds to rescues with significant trauma histories.

My specialty is the hard cases: anxious dogs, separation anxiety, and aggression. It's the work most trainers turn down, and it's the work I take on every week. My service dog graduates are currently working in US hospitals as therapy dogs.

I also handle the complex household transitions most people don't know who to call for — introducing an adult dog to a new cat, preparing a dog for a newborn baby, or rebuilding trust with a rescue who came with unknown history.

My work is rooted in modern behavior science: positive reinforcement, systematic desensitization, and counter-conditioning. No prong collars. No shock. No dominance theatre — just methods that hold up in peer review and on a Tuesday afternoon walk down PCH. I partner with a veterinary clinic in Rancho Palos Verdes on cases where medical support is part of the plan, and I'm a regular guest at California K9 events.
